J is a BIG fan of being outside!

J checking out the chickens.

He really likes these little buggers. (Even though they peck his fingers when he doesn't heed his mama's warnings.)

Scouting the freshly tilled garden

J is also a big fan of pushing the button on the back door, which just so happens to be the one that locks said door. So... when I go out to throw a load of laundry in, I leave the door open. Yesterday, when I came back out of the garage, look who had very quickly escaped! (side note: into our fully fenced yard)

FREEDOM!

Where are Grammie and Papa?

It looks like the same way that Mama and Daddy are both "dada", Papa and Grammie may be collectively known as "papa"

p.s. check out the hair cut

who knew it would be so neccessary to combine the forces of tamborine and dinosaur?

Rod and Lisa,

I have learned many things this quarter hour. The first being that the space I have been communicating with you through is public domain.

The Mrs of the house has come to me upon reading my last letter and apologized incessantly. It seems that rather than hostile intentions, it was merely an innocent oversight on her part. She has pleaded and I have agreed, I will stay a little while longer.

Rod and Lisa,

It seems I will be returning rather sooner than expected. I can barely stand to show it but it must be documented. This is the dinner laid before me only last night.

What can she mean serving me what could be my cousin? Oh, that all swine kind could be as well traveled and versed as I, not subject to the treacheries of barbecuing and pulling.

the adventures of luau louie

after a long plane ride we finally got in the car and on the way

and at the end of our travel the reward... the glorious beach

I (louie) was not the only one to enjoy being a bum

our room opened out onto a balcony with a beautiful view of the grounds

it wasn't always the most peaceful spot but J sure enjoyed it!

i really pigged out at breakfast each morning! fresh pineapple too!

we even watched the seahawks toss the old pig skin

we took a trip down to the Iao Valley

It was beautiful!

i took a closer look at the river

and thought i'd try out some cliff diving... jordan and april talked me down though

we had the oppotunity to stop at some coffee fields

and went to the moon... or was it the blow hole?

it was the blow hole!

J wasn't too sure about it

i got pretty close though

after such high adventures i decided to spend some time by the pool

the others went to flemming beach to catch some waves

and play with cousins

all too quickly it was time to say good bye to the waving palm trees and return to Washington

Perhaps I'll find a bit of adventure here before returning home to Ohio!
With best regards,
Louie

Luau louie

So I am having some technical difficulties and it looks like at least for the time being I am not able to upload my pictures.

Dad and mom,
Louie wants you to know that he is having a great time!
though this morning was a bit rough... He snuck out after curfew and had one too many Mai tai's.
We will watch him closer!

Love Jordan and April
