making up for lost time

speaking of lost time... LOST... what a waste of my time!!! Good riddance old jacky poo!!!

in real life events...
our chickens are outside in their coop :) they love it!



you'll notice that there are 4... there used to be 3... and 2 are smaller than the other 2 :) well turns out we had a Houdini chicken who may or may not have become the neighbor cats breakfast... but did disappear with not a feather left behind so we got one more and she was lonely so we got one more :) thus 4 chickens! :) we like them!
also i officially named them today :) left to right we have:
Orpie, Glenda, Stripey (front), and Coaleen


ohh and this little guy... we like him too... but he has refused ever to lay eggs! ...
cracks me up sitting in the middle of the yard playing with his fingers :)


so our garden has been in for a week now ... the pictures would be rather boring so i'll spare you the dirt :) I'll spare you this photo as well but share the story :) while i was preping the garden last week J was playing in the yard with the grass and leaves and whatever he found and was a very good little boy!!! but the next day there was evidence in a poopy diaper that he had done more than play with a small leaf and flower petal!!! :)

In my imagination he was trying to hide it from me :)... which made me think of the story of Lish (my older sister, for any of the non-ohioan readers) cutting my hair and throwing it down the clothes chute so that mom wouldn't find it... :)
