potty progress plus

training is going really well! J went all day yesterday with no accidents... we even went grocery shopping! worth noting: this little frog is a very good sport!


after he pees he dumps it by himself and comes running out for a trrrreeeaaaaattttt!!!!

he also gets a sticker. if he fills all the squares with stickers we will watch The Lion King on the projector with a popcorn snack on sunday.


J is becoming an accomplished drummer... he drums on anything, any time, any where! (in underwear)


he's even trying to get E to join in... he's thinking about it.


E is still chubby and smiley... much to my joy and relief!


J has a booster chair now, he gets to eat at "the big brown table" with mom and dad. for the record he's not smiling about the booster, he's smiling about the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans! MIDWEST!!!


i was rocking E and reading a book about goats the other night... then here comes J, he carried his little rocking chair in and sat down to read his jesus storybook bible. pretty cute!

J IS OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINING!

he has gotten 3 stickers today and i am thrilled!
we are super proud of this little guy!

just normal stuff

J likes to "read" to E :) his jesus storybook bible is one of his favorites! we read a story from it every day at nap time and before bed :)


jordan has been letting me sleep in the mornings. he gets J his breakfast and sometimes J even gets to have a little coffee or "foffee" rather. I know I have to start getting up again when we get the goats but I am enjoying this season! :)


just hanging out on the couch together...

J has picked up the phrase "hangin' out" it's pretty cute.

also here's a recent whispering dialogue:
J - "i have a seaket (secret)"
me - "what is it?"
J - "a seaket"
he doesn't know he's supposed to say something, he just knows it involves whispering :)

jordan and J reading "how i became a pirate" ... at one point in this book the little boy, jeremy jacob, tries to teach the pirates to play soccer... that has really made an impression on J. He definately yelled "ARG, SOCCER" at a little kid from the top of a wooden play boat in the park. :)


Jordan finished the goats fence yesterday... we will probably be getting them in a couple weeks... I'll have to get some pictures up soon it's looking good.

jan/feb update

when J actually sits still long enough for E to really focus, he smiles at him. it's pretty adorable.


we travelled to ohio... E got to meet Papa and all his aunts and uncles... (and snuggle with Grammie some more) we had such a good time with you guys!


E even got to meet great Pappy, who thought he was "such a nice guy"


a couple sunny days back in WA meant time to bust out the bike trailer and get on the road for the first time this season!


These guys are becoming fast friends :) i pray their friendship will grow through out their lives and that they will push each other toward christ.

post baby winter update :)

we took a christmas picture :) jordan decorated this lovely "christmas window". it was an excellent alternative to a tree since we try to fit 20 people in our little living room every monday for community group :) (the group has grown so big that next week will actually be the first week of our group splitting into two. Praise God! room for that many more people to join in studying God's word!)


it finally snowed! yesterday Jordan and J took full advantage built a front yard snowman, back yard snowman, and went sledding all in one day! p.s. both snowmen were legit... they had corn cob pipes


unfortunately front yard snowman was dead this morning... if you look close you can see that someone actually walked off the side walk and knocked him down!!! jerk!
